Local Leadership Development Seminar has been amazing. Basically this conference was held for the new AIESEC members to learn more about AIESEC and bond with fellow newbies and seniors in a 3 days 2 nights camp.

It was my first seminar participated but second development programme followed by SHINE discovery session. There were quite some similar information with the SHINE discovery sessions, but we have also learnt a lot about sales techniques and fantastic AIESEC culture.

There are some important points that I've taken note of about AIESEC RAMARE process which are the 3 main pocesses that every exchange participants have to go through.

RA ( Raising )

1) Right minded, knowing your customer

-consult, not force.

- capture someone's attention through relevance.

- golden circle

- know the purpose of sales, not promote the product, but transfer organization's value

and/or help people know about the value of something which they do not know.

2) Sales technique

- ask question and listen ( introvert's way ). Then advice. e.g. : our products may be helpful / what's the best move.

- effective sales are 20% of talking and 80% of listening.

- express through the features > advantage > benefits.

- body language : people's 1st impression is how you act. know what people's thinking through their poses.

3) Values

- people are more convinced by FIGURES.

- ask people what they prefer ( their values ) then emphasize on that. If their value is wrong, tell them your value e.g. : when you want your family to last, we believe...

4) Process

i. read through product

ii. values proposition

iii. marketing

iv. finalize pitch

MA ( Matching )

- it's about how you gather and share information to your customer so it matches what they really want.

- it goes through interviewing and asking the right question in order to match EP ( exchange participants ) and project ideally.

RE ( Realising )

- it is where a story begins. ( The exchange participants are in the country they wanted to do community works. )

- it is all about crisi management and we prompt to come up with solutions.

Joining AIESEC has never let me regret. It taught me that we can actually having fun while learning from successful people and friends at the same time. ' Be kind to those whose journeys interact with yours. You don't want to end up a lonely old king living alone in your magnificent castle of dreams.' I believe by having these bunch of positive and like-minded people can certainly motivate me to constantly move upwards in the future.
