Finance Management is a module conducted by Ms. Tay Shir Men. The aim of this module is to let us understand the core principles and practices of financial management in maximizing the value of a firm. This module also develop our skills in cash flow management in a business. This module covers the teaching and understanding of ten main topics which consist of :

1) Discipline Specific Knowledge
Financial management knowledge is important not just in work but also in life. Different people have different areas of expertise but in the end those areas of expertise still relate to a business’s primary financial goals. The most significant thing I have learnt in FM is the power of compound interest and the time value of money!
2) Interpersonal skills
We were given an assignment of preparing financial analysis of LBS Group in group of six. In this assignment we have to keep communicating with each other as everyone's result is interrelated. When working in a team, we have to resolve conflicts and disagreement in a positive way while negotiating and persuading skills take place to achieve mutually acceptable outcome.
