Taylor's Graduate Capabilities

1) Discipline Specific Knowledge

The topics covered are indeed useful to prepare us as students to apply our understanding and knowledge for the preparation of the Bills of Quantities and for estimating purposes in Meaurement classes.

2) Lifelong Learning

The group assignment that required us to carry out a case study on a subject building in regards the building services elements taught in this module has enabled us to see more than we learnt in class. Nonetheless, I prefer to sum every site visit into lifelong learning process.

3) Thinking and Problem Solving Skills

As mentioned above, learning never stop. When deal with the problem when dealing with assignments, we will constantly look for the right solution and do a lot of research to attain the best correct answer. This process also enables us to have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and spend a lot of time ruminating on how the knowledge applies to our lives.

4) Interpersonal Skill

While dealing with group assignments, we have came to learn that group effort is more effective than individual effort. When doing a project with group members, we not only improve ourselves but also improving others. When I do well, I set a standard that others will want to meet. By pushing myself, I help to push the people in my group to produce a great assignment.
